The Fidalgo Roxa chili pepper is very similar to the Cheiro Roxa, given their striking resemblance in color, shape, and flavor. It's a must-have, beautifully presented vegetable originating from Brazil. Some producers report a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) of 10,000 to 15,000, while others suggest levels exceeding 100,000. It is distinguished by its wild-looking appearance, with large leaves sometimes tinged with anthocyanin purple, and by its fruits that ripen from deep purple to a peach-orange hue. The fruits are relatively small, measuring approximately 2-3 cm long and 2 cm wide in some cases.
